Colorado Waterfalls - The first three waterfalls in Colorado, you should

North Clear Creek Falls

North Clear Creek Falls is believed to be the most photographed waterfall in Colorado. This is because in one part of the state, which is located far from any major city. The largest city, located in the general area of the Gunnison. If you are coming from Gunnison, you'll be through Lake City, the nearest town in the North Clear Creek Falls above.

From Lake City, you can follow the highway. 149 south to the junctionfalls. Once in the parking lot, just a short walk to the waterfall Colorado impressive. It's a little 'more than 100 meters into the ravine, and there is a viewing area where you can get a good look at them. Or if you want to follow a small path that you walk along the top of the gorge, where you can get different views of the falls. Just not too close to shore.

Bridal Veil Falls

Among the numerous waterfalls in Colorado, is certainly Bridal Veil Fallsmust-see if you're a waterfall. And this is another that is located in a remote part of the country. Bridal Veil Falls, near the ski resort of Telluride. But if you see one that falls, I believe you'll agree with me that it was worth going the distance.

Bridal Veil Falls is a long drop of 300 meters and the highest of all the cascades of notes in Colorado. To see it go east of Colorado Avenue in Telluride. This road will take you the short distance from the falls, butCatch is that you need a high clearance vehicle. The road is unpaved and very bumpy and rocky. So if you do not have a high clearance vehicle, park on the right side of the road and walk the rest of the way to the falls.

Fish Creek Falls

The first three waterfalls that I say Colorado is about Fish Creek Falls, the easiest to reach, in terms of race. It is located near Steamboat Springs, and although a bit 'outbeaten path, it is still easier to North Clear Creek Falls, Bridal Veil Falls or obtain. And the ease of driving on a paved road to have parking.

Fish Creek Falls is located a few miles outside of Steamboat Springs. In the parking lot, you must pay a fee. Once you do, you should see the top on the one hand, the guide if there are seats available. (You're the closest to the starting point.) From the upper parking lot, just a short walk toFish Creek Falls. At the bottom you cross a bridge where you can enjoy a splendid view of the falls.

As a side note, the best time to see the falls (or any other Colorado waterfalls), it is usually in June or sooner, depending on snow conditions. This is because the water level is higher, so the falls are most impressive.
