Colorado Falls - the first three waterfalls in Colorado, you should

North Clear Creek Falls

North Clear Creek Falls is probably the most photographed waterfall in Colorado. And that says a lot, because in a state that is located far from any big city. The largest city, located in the general area of the Gunnison. Coming from Gunnison, will be through Lake City, the nearest town of North Clear Creek Falls over.

From Lake City, follow Hwy 149 south to the junctionfalls. Once the car is close to the impressive waterfall in Colorado. It is just over 100 meters into the canyon, and there is a viewing area where you can get a good look at them. Or, if you will, there is a small path that follows is associated to the top of the gorge, where you can get different views of cases can. But not too close to shore.

Bridal Veil Falls

Among the numerous waterfalls in Colorado, Bridal Veil Falls is certainlya must if you're a waterfall. And this is another that is in a remote area of the country. Bridal Veil Falls, near the ski resort of Telluride. But if you look again, the falls, I think you'll agree that it's worth, the distance was.

Bridal Veil Falls has a drop of over 300 meters long and is the highest of all famous waterfalls in Colorado. To view it, go east on Colorado Avenue in Telluride. This road leads the short distance from the Falls, but theCatch is that you need a high clearance vehicle. The road is unpaved and very bumpy and rocky. So if you have a vehicle above the ground, the only park on the street side and walk the rest of the way to the waterfalls.

Fish Creek Falls

The first three waterfalls in Colorado that I told you, Fish Creek Falls is the easiest to reach, in terms of race. It is located near Steamboat Springs, and although these were considered to be a bit 'outbeaten track, it is easier to achieve than North Clear Creek Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. And you have the ease of driving on a paved road to the parking lot.

Fish Creek Falls is a few miles outside of Steamboat Springs. In the parking lot, you pay a fee. Once this is done, you should see the disk than the first game to see if there are places left. (And find the nearest point of departure.) From the upper parking lot, just a short downhill walkFish Creek Falls. Eventually there will be a bridge from which a magnificent view of the falls.

As a side note, the best time to see these waterfalls, (or any other cascades Colorado), is usually in June or even earlier, according to snow conditions. This is because the water is greater, so the falls are most impressive.
